Haitianola is passionate about the documented and oral history that connects Haiti and New Orleans. We have found that most New Orleanians have an imagination for Haiti and really want to know more. We have found that most Haitians know very little about New Orleans, but are interested to know more. In order to facilitate dialogue and learning opportunities we have created multimedia presentations that help share what we know - so far! Our curriculum is ever changing, as we keep learning ourselves.
We are able to offer these presentations and discussions to private and public groups, large and small. Our programming is designed to be accessible to a variety of audiences in both Haiti and New Orleans and is available in both Kreyol and English.
Haitianola also offers a 2 Hour Multimedia Presentation, 1 Week, 3 Week or 6 Week after-school or in-school programming that includes age and grade level appropriate lessons, activities, and project-based learning designed to meet Louisiana State Student Standards.
